Resolving Xbox App Problems On Windows: Tips and Tricks You Can Use

In this post, we’ll show you some quick fixes that will get the Xbox app back up and running in no time.

Check Out Your Internet Connection

If your internet connection isn’t very good, you might not be able to download or start games from the Xbox app. So, before you spend time on more complicated solutions, run a quick internet speed test on your PC to see how well your connection is working. You can also try a different network connection if one is available.

Change the Time and Date On Your Computer

It might not seem like a big deal if your PC is set to the wrong date or time, but it can cause a lot of problems. In this case, it could stop the Xbox app from talking to the servers, making it impossible for you to use. You can easily avoid this by setting Windows to automatically set the correct time.

Here are the steps that you should take.

  1. Press Win + I to launch the Settings app.
  2. Select Time & language from the left pane.
  3. Click on the Date and time.
  4. Enable the toggle next to Set time automatically.

After that, restart the Xbox app and see if it still works.
