UIDAI’s official website states that Aadhaar cardholders can update their address online via the Self Service Update Portal (SSUP). It is now possible to obtain free biometric information online, including required biometric upgrades. While customers must pay Rs 50 to obtain demographic data such as a name, address, date of birth, gender, mobile number, and email. Updates that don’t fit into the necessary category will still incur the same fees.

Steps to Update the Address on Aadhaar Cards
Step 1: Open the UIDAI website at uidai.gov.in and select “My Aadhaar” from the drop-down menu in the upper left of the page.
Step 2: A secondary page will open; select the option to “Update Demographics Data Online” from the drop-down menu in the top-left corner of the page, located under the “Update Aadhaar section.”
Step 3: At this point, select the “Proceed to Update Aadhaar” link and fill out the form fields with the required data. When finished, input the captcha as well as your Aadhaar number. Then, check your phone using the registered phone number after entering all the necessary information and clicking the “Send OTP” button.

Step 4: Enter the OTP once it has been downloaded to your phone. In the next step, select “demographics data.” The pertinent information can be updated here in accordance. Click the ‘Proceed’ button after filling out the needed fields.
