T-Mobile announced on Wednesday that consumers of its wireless home Internet service will have access to two streaming television services, one of which will be free and the other will be at a significant discount.
T-Mobile officials announced that cellular customers who sign up for the company’s 5G home Internet service will be eligible for one year of free access to the ad-supported version of Paramount Plus as part of the company’s latest “Uncarrier” programme.
The ad-supported version of Paramount Plus costs $5 per month and gives you on-demand access to hundreds of TV shows and movies from the Paramount Global collection, which includes shows from CBS, MTV, and VH1, Nickelodeon, the Smithsonian Channel, Comedy Central, and BET.
T-version Mobile’s of Paramount Plus does not provide streaming access to a customer’s local CBS station, although T-Mobile does have an option for that as well: Eligible cellular users who have a line of service on T-Magenta Mobile’s Max plan can get a 50% discount on a YouTube TV subscription, bringing the monthly cost down to roughly $33 for over 80 live broadcast and cable channels.
Magenta Max costs $85 per month for one line of service or $140 for three lines of service and includes a complimentary Netflix membership, among other benefits.
Who is eligible to participate?
Customers on eligible T-Mobile and Sprint postpaid consumer phone, wireless, and home Internet plans (including T-Mobile for Business) are eligible for a year of Paramount+ on T-Mobile.
T-Mobile and Sprint Prepaid, Mobile Internet alone, are ineligible (tablets, Laptops, hotspots, watches, etc.), T-Mobile subscribers with more than 12 voice lines, government, Puerto Rico, and Metro, and T-Mobile customers outside the United States
If you’re a current Paramount+ member on T-Mobile, you’ll need to terminate your current subscription and resubscribe through T-Mobile.
You’re eligible if you’re a Sprint or T-Mobile for Business customer with an existing Paramount+ annual (Essential or Premium); SHOWTIME Bundle, Paramount+ Student Discount, or legacies Limited Commercials* monthly or annual subscriber, but you must cancel your current Paramount+ subscription and resubscribe to the monthly Essential plan to claim the offer. Go to your Paramount+ account and log in.
Scroll down to “Redeem a Coupon” on your account page.
Click “Apply” after entering the unique code you received from T-Mobile.
Please keep in mind that the discount will not be applied to your account until the following billing cycle begins. You won’t be able to use the T-Mobile offer until your existing offer, discount, or coupon expires. Visit paramountplus.com/account and go down to “Coupon” to see if you have an offer, discount, or coupon applied to your account.
Paramount+ Premium Monthly Subscribers
You must terminate your current T-Mobile subscription and then resubscribe at paramountplus.com to be eligible for the T-Mobile deal. Here’s how to do it:
Scroll down to the bottom of your Account page and click “cancel the subscription.” You’ll be guided through the process of cancelling your subscription.
- Wait until your billing cycle is over.
- Then go to promotions.t-mobile.com/ParamountPlus and get a discount code to redeem the offer.
- You’ll be taken to paramountplus.com, where you can renew your subscription. Make sure you choose the monthly Essential plan.
- When you arrive at the checkout page, click “Start Paramount+” and input your promo code under “Redeem a Coupon.”

Paramount+ Premium or Essential Annual Subscribers, or legacies Limited Commercials Monthly and Annual Subscribers
