When you ship a box from a retail location or after making an eCommerce purchase, you’ll receive a unique tracking number.
In addition to the 12-digit number, FedEx provides 10-digit, 15-digit, 20-digit, and 22-digit numbers for customers to select from. It’s not uncommon for FedEx tracking numbers to have no letters.
