Christopher Edward Hansen was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 13th, 1959. Chris was raised in Bloomfield Township and Birmingham, Michigan, and was motivated to become a journalist at the age of 14 after watching the FBI investigation into Jimmy Hoffa’s disappearance. Hansen had graduated from Michigan State University’s College of Communication Arts and Sciences in 1981. He was a telecommunications bachelor’s degree holder.
Hansen’s Professional Career
During his final year at Michigan State University, he worked as a reporter for Lansing NBC station WILX.
