Wednesday Trailer Introduces the Spooky Nevermore Academy
The Addams family is seen leaving their daughter Wednesday at the Nevermore Academy as the trailer opens. Enid Sinclair, her roommate, is then introduced to us before we explore the school’s secret groups, hidden libraries, and eerie atmosphere.
As Wednesday claims, a violent monster is also let loose in the meantime, and Nevermore continues to be a place where there are much more mysteries than there are solutions. However, the protagonist’s situation is not entirely hopeless because Uncle Fester, who makes an appearance on his patrol motorcycle, is by her side.
The family is seen in the trailer attending a funeral as the teenager pursues her investigation into the school’s mysteries. Wednesday, which will have eight episodes, will make its Netflix debut on November 23. the trailer is below.
Tim Burton has Directed Four Episodes of the Show
As the creator and director of four of the eight episodes, Tim Burton’s imagination is being referred to as the series. We’ve never seen Wednesday as a teenager before, according to Jenna Ortega, who plays Wednesday, who recently discussed her character in an interview.
When coming from somebody who should probably know more than a 10-year-old girl, her caustic, insulting remarks might not sound quite as endearing. Every other time you’ve seen Wednesday, she’s been the punchline or the punchline to a joke. I believe that’s what people truly adore about her.
But each scene in this show takes place on Wednesday. She said, “There’s a chance to give her a little more character, and she becomes a little more of a real person, which I don’t believe we’ve ever seen before.”
Former Wednesday Actress Christina Ricci Plays Marilyn Thornhill in the Series
The character of Marilyn Thornhill, who also appears in the trailer, will be played by Christina Ricci, who played Wednesday in the 1991 picture The Addams Family. Jenna Ortega, known for You and Fallout, will play the series’ title character.
Other cast members include Riki Lindhome as Dr. Valerie Kinbott, Georgie Farmer as Ajax Petropolis, Moosa Mostafa as Eugene Ottinger, Jamie McShane as Sheriff Donovan Galpin, Hunter Doohan as Tyler Galpin, and Luis Guzman as Gomez Addams. Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams.
Wednesday will also star Victor Dorobantu as Thing, Gwendoline Christie as Larissa Weems, Percy Hynes White as Xavier Thorpe, Joy Sunday as Bianca Barclay, Naomi J. Ogawa as Yoko Tanaka, Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair, and Joy Sunday as Yoko Tanaka. The actor playing Uncle Fester is Fred Armisen.
