A third season of the animated program The Owl House is forthcoming. faster than you anticipate. The Owl House has received a lot of praise from critics and viewers alike, and in contrast to other Disney media, it stands out for its LGBTQIA+ inclusion.
The third season will differ significantly from the first two. In the series, a human girl finds a portal to another planet and befriends a rebellious witch and a warrior. She joins a new household and quickly fulfills her childhood fantasy of becoming a witch.

The Owl House Season 3 Release Date & Time
Season three will return on October 15, 2022, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Disney Channel and Disney XD. Three 44-minute specials will really make up the season; the other two will air in 2023. Thanks to Them is the name of the first special.
After months of struggling, Luz and her allies undertake a daring attempt to return to the Demon Realm, according to the first special synopsis. Additionally, this season is planned to be the series’ last.
The show’s creator, Dana Terrace, announced that the final season would consist of a full 20 episodes. Disney Channel chose to limit the third season of the show to three 44-minute episodes despite its popularity. The creator tweeted on October 15: “Hooty hoot we’re back.”

The Shows Creator Talked About The Cut
Where the second season left off, the third season will pick up with Luz and her friends stranded in the human world and willing to do whatever it takes to escape to the demon realm and defend the Boiling Isles from Emperor Belos and the Collector.
Regarding the LGBTQ+ content, Terrace stated, “I’m not going to assume bad faith against the individuals I work with in LA, even though we have had issues airing in a few countries [and are just straight up prohibited in a few more].
They simply wanted to put TOH behind them, and this was the ideal opportunity to do so. Evidently, it was challenging to even get the three S3 episodes. Hard to say, Dana Terrace continued, “I wasn’t able to participate in any conversations until I was just told.”
She said, “At the end of the day, a small group of businessmen monitor what fits into the Disney brand, and one of those guys decided one day [The Owl House] didn’t suit that “brand”.”
