There are only a few months left until the FIFA World Cup 2022, and two more performers have already been announced to ignite the stage. Black Eyed Peas and J Balvin are the newest acts to be added to the lineup for the World Stage festival, which will start on November 20, 2022, in Doha.

Black Eyed Peas and J Balvin will be Performing in Qatar for FIFA World Cup

On November 20, the iconic group Black Eyed Peas, which consists of will. i.am, apl.de.ap, and Taboo will perform as the opening act for the World Stage event. J Balvin, a Colombian artist, will perform on stage on November 24 four days later.

The World Stage Festival will go on for Six Nights

As part of the Qatar Live 2022 series, a number of famous celebrities will play in Doha over the course of six nights during the star-studded event known as The World Stage. Alchemy Project is collaborating with Qatar Tourism and Qatar Airways to put on the event.

The rest of the acts and the release date for tickets have not yet been disclosed by the organizers. Daydream Festival Qatar, an event separate from the World Stage, will run from November 22 to December 18 at the Doha Golf Club.

The festival is known for its electronic dance music (EDM) performers, and it will include a massive lineup of well-known DJs, including Timmy Trumpet, Nervo, Jonas Blue, Ferry Corsten, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Alok, Paul Van Dyk, Major Lazer Soundsystem, and Nicky Romero.

In the city of Al Wakrah, the third event, Arabia, will take place from November 21 to December 18. Up to this point, 56 international performers, including David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Hardwell, Tyga, DaBaby, and Afrojack, have been confirmed to perform at the occasion.

Shakira is Rumored to be Performing on the Opening Night

The opening ceremony for the athletic event will be another main draw in addition to the three music festivals. On Sunday, November 20, at 7 p.m. local time, the opening night will take place at the Al Bayt Stadium in the city of Jor.

FIFA has not yet made the event’s performers official. Shakira, however, is rumored to be performing at the opening ceremony’s main stage. Several rumors claim that Dua Lipa and BTS will perform with the Colombian artist.

Shakira and FIFA have a long-standing relationship, and she provided the 2010 World Cup in South Africa with one of their most well-known anthems, Waka Waka.
