Daniel Hernandez, better known as 6ix9ine, was born on May 8, 1996, in Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York City. Daniel Hernandez, a Puerto Rican father, and a Mexican mother gave birth to him. He did not, however, complete his high school studies. Hernandez was also dismissed from eighth grade for misbehaving. He was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder at the time, as a result of his stepfather’s death.

“SO the actual reason I LEFT Instagram and MUSIC for 6 months is that in September I was the heaviest I ever got,” the celebrity said, accompanied by a topless photo demonstrating his weight increase.

“I was 204 pounds and going through a lot in life, and I was just constantly eating and eating,” she says.

6ix9ine, real name Daniel Hernandez, decided to take a break from music and social media to focus on his health.

“I told myself to put the music down and focus on myself, and here I am today, 60 pounds lighter at 140,” he wrote in a post about his weight loss journey.

“IN LIFE, everyone needs a break,” he wrote. “In the turmoil of all that is going on in your life, tell yourself ‘I control what occurs in my life,'” he wrote.

“DO NOT BELIEVE ANYONE WHO TELLS YOU THAT WHAT YOU WANT IS NOT POSSIBLE, THAT IS FALSE!” he continued. IF YOU WANT IT, GET IT! OWN YOUR S–T! CHECK THE F–KING STATS!!!!!!” I AM AND FOREVER WILL BE THE KING OF NEW YORK.
