The 41-year-old reality star said, “Despite my nervousness, I listened to the physicians and went in for my 3-month skin check last week after my prior melanoma,” beside a photo of a scar on her shoulder. They performed a biopsy after saying I had another suspicious spot close to my previous one. This morning I received the call: stage 2 melanoma.
Wednesday is Mellencamp’s scheduled appointment with her oncologist. Now, I’m going to an oncologist on Wednesday to get it removed and to develop a strategy for what to do next. She continued, “Of course, this is all pending some additional testing and biopsies of other neighboring sites that were collected today.

The actress stated, “I continue to share this experience since I was a 90s adolescent, putting baby oil and iodine on my skin to tan it,” attributing her poor health to applying baby oil and iodine to her body during her teenage years. I didn’t inspect my moles till I was 40 years old or wear sunscreen. This has served as such a wake-up call for me and, I hope, for all of you to appreciate and take care of your own skin.

Teddi then posted a video to her Instagram story in which she tried to hold back her tears as she said, “So I just finished my workout and received the word from the doctor that that second area came back melanoma, and they requested me to come straight in.” Teddi then asked her followers to watch the video. thus, I’m here.
