John B Stand-In Chase Stokes Is Praised for His ‘Bright Light’ Tribute: “Outer Banks”

A Kimmie Stewart Casting Agency Facebook post stated that Jennings’ mother told his employer of her son’s death. “AJ was tragically killed early this morning when he was struck by two cars that fled the scene. The Outer Banks crew and cast were devastated.
When we worked together, AJ was always a joy to be around. This season, he relocated from New York to Charleston, South Carolina, to serve as our John B picture double/stand,” the post added.
According to the casting agency’s statement, “I can’t imagine the shock and tragedy of AJ’s abrupt demise, and our prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

During a traffic check, police in Charleston were able to identify the second vehicle that struck Jennings; police in Charleston have yet to identify the first. There have been no criminal charges brought.
Season three of Outer Banks is presently in production, with principal photography taking place in Charleston and the surrounding area.
