Due to their differences over the past few months, Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill have decided to separate ways.
After two years of marriage to her 52-year-old TV presenter husband, the 55-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta alum has filed for divorce.
A Joint Statement Was Released By The Two
The pair announced their decision to split up in a joint statement, despite their love for one another. This is a result of the distinct paths they intend to take. But they will always cherish all of their memories together as husband and wife. They are appreciative of their previous tight friendship.
“Many of you have been on this trip with us from the beginning,” they said, “and we appreciate our family, friends, and devoted fans for their supportiveness as we move forward and start our future chapters.”
After The Couple’s Second Wedding Anniversary, News Of Their Split Broke
The news of the separation follows the couple’s declaration of their separation, which fell on what would have been their second wedding anniversary. Just over a year after their private engagement, which was shown on RHOA during season 13, the pair got married on October 10, 2020, as depicted on the show.
Following the couple’s wedding, Cynthia spoke to her audience about the ceremony’s most moving moment and what brought her the most solace. The Bravolebrity made her decision to leave RHOA after 11 seasons known the following month.
She argued that her choice was her own, even if she told supporters that it had nothing to do with the fact that her spouse had moved to the west coast.
Despite this, Mike intimated that they had experienced a difficult period soon after, which corresponded with their first anniversary, exactly around the time they had also experienced a difficult period. It wasn’t quite a picture-perfect weekend, but the two commemorated the event by unwinding there for the weekend.
